Perspectives for Contribution to the Hub:

As a physicist with expertise in computational physics, astronomy, and the interaction between radiation and matter, I see the Europlanet Colombia Hub as a valuable platform to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and expand the frontiers of planetary science in Latin America. My research focuses on the electronic and optical properties of organic and inorganic semiconductor nanostructures under external fields, as well as molecular electronic structure—topics that intersect with the design of advanced sensors and instruments relevant to space exploration. I am also actively involved in astronomy education and astrobiology, and I am committed to promoting scientific literacy through teaching and outreach. Through the Hub, I hope to contribute to research, student training, and the development of academic networks that link Colombian institutions with the broader Europlanet community. This initiative represents an exciting opportunity to strengthen regional capacities and encourage participation in global scientific endeavors.
